This piece is meant to be displayed with its door open. It can be hung on the wall or can be placed directly on a shelf or other flat surface and displayed as a sculpture.

Polarized flight types often flee symbolically via drugs, alcohol, etc. or through process addictions, such as workaholism, compulsively cleaning/rearranging, or any other activity done to stay busy so as to avoid feelings. The bird in this piece has no legs because it will never land. It has two heads so that it can be hyper vigilant about potential threats. It may seem free when it’s flying without end; however, emotionally, it is trapped on the ground, confined to a refrigerator that it will visit time and time again.
